Fly past the iconic Mauao (Mount Maunganui) heading up the coast to the Coromandel.

During your flight, see beautiful private bays and absorb the views of the vast inner Tauranga harbour. Keep your eyes peeled for sea life during the summer season.

As you arrive at the coast the scenery changes to imposing cliffs over heavenly isolated beaches.

Landing on a beautiful secluded beach you will be able to stretch your legs and grab some great selfies.

Enjoy a light refreshment as you head back towards Tauranga while your pilot provides you with knowledge of the local area.

Fly inland over dense bush and farmland to the Waihi Gold Mine you can't miss this as it is 1km wide and 260m deep! The best way to witness the mine is from above, so you'll have the best seat in the house.

The flight returns via the imposing Tauranga harbour and Matakana farmlands.

What if I want this flight to be private?

We can provide private flights at an additional cost, just give the team at Aerius Helicopters a call on 0800 684 354.

How long are we on the beach for?

Approximately 10 minutes, enough time to grab those selfies and take in the beautiful views of complete serenity.

When should I arrive for my helicopter flight?

We require passengers to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled flight. This allows enough time for us to check-in and pre-flight all passengers regarding safety and procedures when in the helicopter.

BOOKING INFORMATION

We require the weights of all passengers prior to the flight. Maximum weight allowed per seat is 130kgs (286lbs).

All flights are subject to weather and weight restrictions. If the pilot has any concerns, flights may be altered at their discretion.

Flights require a minimum of 2 passengers to be confirmed.

If booking within 24 hours of departure please phone for availability. Bookings within this time cannot be made online.

Our pilots will make a decision in regards to weather conditions on the day of your booked flight. If the weather conditions are not suitable for flying, we will contact you to reschedule your booking or provide a full refund.
