HELICOPTER FLIGHT TRAINING
THE FIRST STEP TO BECOMING A HELICOPTER PILOT
Aviation is an exciting and rewarding industry. Although it comes with a lot of responsibility, flown correctly and safely there is a lot of fun to be had, and the Bay of Plenty is a perfect training environment. Being based at the Tauranga Airport within a control zone and mountains on the horizon gives students added confidence when flying in a range of environments.
Our instructor is highly experienced and qualified to assist and coach students of all ages to achieve their goals, and above all else our instructors provide a friendly environment and a level of service providing thorough, safe and efficient flight training that will have you coming out the other end as a confident competent pilot.
Introduction Flight
We recommended that you undergo a trial flight with one of our instructors, for “hands-on” experience, this is a great way to introduce yourself to aviation and the flight time counts towards your licence.
PPL - Private Pilot’s Licence
This Licence enables the holder to act as the pilot in command of a helicopter privately, for non-fare paying passengers.
CPL – Commercial Pilot’s Licence
This qualification permits the holder to act as the pilot in command of a single pilot aircraft and to be paid for his/her work.
C CAT – Flight Instructor Rating
Teaching pilots who wish to become instructors, guaranteed to improve your helicopter knowledge and advance in your career.
